WPC Outdoor Kitchens
WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite: a cladding made of wood fibers bonded with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and UV stabilizers. It gives your outdoor kitchen the warm look of real wood with none of its problems in the South Florida climate. Built on our own welded aluminum frame and backed by a 10-year warranty.

What WPC is
Wood Plastic Composite is an engineered board. Fine wood fibers are mixed with HDPE polymer and pigments, then extruded under heat and pressure into dense, uniform planks. The wood gives the grain and the natural look; the polymer seals every fiber so water, salt and insects cannot get in. The color is part of the board, not a coating.
We use WPC as the exterior finish of the outdoor kitchen. The structure underneath is the same aluminum frame we fabricate in our Doral shop for every kitchen we build. WPC is available in several wood tones so it can match a deck, a pergola or the house.
Why it works in South Florida
- Does not rot, split or warp. Humidity, rain and irrigation do not affect it.
- Termite and insect proof. There is no exposed wood for them to eat.
- UV-stabilized color. Holds its tone in direct sun far longer than stained wood.
- Salt-air resistant. Suitable for coastal homes and pool areas.
- No sanding, staining or sealing. Cleaning is soap and water.
- Grease and stain resistant surface. Made for a cooking area.
